Privacy notice
This notice covers the Salty Beach Cruising website only. It lists what the site collects, where each item goes and how long it is kept. Where we have not confirmed a period, it says so, and we do not estimate one.
Forms and links to Tern Travel
This site has no forms of its own. Its buttons leave this site and open Tern Travel's own forms, and Tern Travel handles the forms, booking and payment through those links. What you type there goes to Tern Travel, and this site does not receive, log or keep it. Tern Travel's own terms cover that data once you are on its pages. The link is an ordinary web address; nothing about you is added to it.
What visitors sent through our earlier forms
Until the forms were removed, this site had a trip form and a booking page. What visitors sent through them landed in our Microsoft 365 tenant: the trip form in our shared inbox, with a copy in the sending mailbox's Sent Items, and a booking in our Microsoft Bookings mailbox. That is kept 90 days and then deleted. An Exchange retention policy on each mailbox enforces the deletion. Those policies are in place.
Technical records
- Request logs: your IP address and the route you requested, in Vercel's hosting logs. Kept: Not yet confirmed.
- Statistics: page views through Vercel Web Analytics, and only after you allow Statistics in the consent banner. If you decline, the site sends nothing. Kept: Not yet confirmed.
On your device
The consent banner saves your choice in your browser's local storage, under the key tcs-consent. If you reject all, the site saves nothing else there. This stays in your browser; it is not sent to us. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes it.
